Another successful General Council Meeting under our belts - this time in Temple. The next one is being scheduled for November the 21st. Location and times will be posted as soon as we have them. The People and Council have decided to return to the three-week interval between General Council Meetings. Most people prefer that arrangement.

Don't miss the Tuesday-night RT Meeting in Dallas this week. We are having a one-night Seminar on "Meeting Management" offered by Yaffah DaCosta. Hope you can join us!

Check out the newest link to a very interesting site: the "Barefoot's World" (Who is Running America?) Look for a new facelift for the "Front Page" of this website. SOON!!

Fresh updates: Read Jesse Enloe's "To whom it May Concern" wherein he explains and once and for all puts to rest the questions about the former officers of the Republic.

Then, pay a visit to "The Marketplace," where you'll find a new private enterprise section: "Lone Star I. D."

Sunday, October 12, 1997 (RTD: 162.8.15)

The "Freedom and Liberty Conference" held in Cleburne yesterday, as expected, was a great success! Everyone in attendance had only good things to say about it. Thanks go to Alden and Micki Nellis and their associates for organizing the conference. On the previous evening, a General Council Meeting was held and one of the items presented to the people was this "Open Letter" redacted by Secretary of Privatization Ed Brannum. Also, the following model for "Certificate of Competency" was submitted by Jesse Enloe in his private capacity.

O.K., here at last is the article many of you were looking for, that explains: "What is Common Law?" Thanks, Jesse, for another excellent job!

Join us tomorrow (Saturday), if you can, at the People's Court of Common Law. It meets at 12:30 p.m. in the conference room of the Park Inn Motel on Benge St. in Arlington. The court is continuing to review the Operational Guidelines. Your input is important!

*** "You want a definition of chutzpah? Forget the kid who killed his parents and begged for mercy because he was an orphan. Think instead about Bill Clinton demanding that Congress pass campaign-finance reform" - James Pinkerton, Newsday and Los Angeles Times columnist, quoted in The Washington Times, September 26, '97.

See additional information about the "Freedom and Liberty Conference" to be held in Cleburne. Don't miss it, if you can help it!!
