Thank you so much for answering me with some intelligent thinking on your own. I do have some corrections for you and those are in BOLD lettering under your statements.
First a couple of questions and short statements. Is it any wonder that thinking Americans are turning to certain cable networks in the hope of obtaining honest information rather than biased reporting? Is it any wonder that newspaper circulation is dropping like a rock while Internet news thrives?We not only need an honest government in this nation, we need an honest national news media system, and if we had the latter, we might have the former.
You use your First Amendment rights of Freedom of the Press. If some of us use the same right of freedom of speech, we’re "anti-government". Greg this statement is not necessarily pointed at you. It is the thinking of most of the major media.

You can call yourself a member of The Abe Lincoln Top-Hat Wearing Barefoot Dancing Club or whatever you want, but the fact is that you are a member of a separatist organization. You want to separate from the U.S., that's all that means. So YOU tell the truth and own up to what you are. You have no reason to duck the label of separtist. Calling a spade a spade is not villifying, just naming, my friend."
Greg, I am a Baptist who believes in Jesus Christ. Why did you not print and label me with that Truth?

Sir, we do not want to separate from the U.S. If you knew your history you would know that there never was a Treaty to annex the Republic of Texas to the united States of America in the first place. If you know of one, please produce it. Therefore we never belonged to the U.S. in the first place. Also, the Treaty of 1819 between Spain and the united States of America, concerning the Land of Texas, America RELINQUISHED all claims to the land west of the Mississippi FOREVER. What part of FOREVER do people not understand?

I agree with you on the giving advice point, except for the fact that Val Huvar does not answer anyone with "I was advised by the DA not to file" he answers every time with "I was directed by the DA not to file". He will not admit he is the one making these decisions because he is violating everyone’s rights, because the documents are not fraudulent and it is the County Clerk’s job to file any document of evidence as long it is notarized properly and is not fraudulent. He also stated in the Court when talking to Mr. West that he called a man named Mesa with the Attorney General’s office and Mesa had directed him not to file some documents. I know exactly when this LIE occurred because he was talking about my documents. This occurred on July 9th, 2001 because he called me and told me this. On July 10th, 2001 I verified with two different sources at the Attorney General’s office, including the personnel office, that there was no such person who works for the Attorney General’s office. Later I was called by the Open Records Division and told that the "Attorney General’s office only gives opinions upon request in writing from County Officials and that any actual decisions made on County Affairs usually come from a County or District Attorney". When I am flagrantly LIED to by anyone, it takes a long time before I can ever trust that person(s) again.
"As far as not printing your side on the water district question, WHO ELSE BUT THE ADVOCATE HAS? I know I've done several stories myself explaining your viewpoints and your interpretations of the water laws and have received lots of positive comments from those in the oppostion for doing so. So don't give me that "one-sided" line."

I am sorry I wasn’t clear on this point. I understand and appreciate your articles concerning our Water. What I was trying to convey was that, at all the Public meetings paid for with our tax dollars, the opposition is not allowed to speak. The only person(s) allowed to answer questions are the Attorney(s) or other Government official(s). This is called controlling the people. How is it that the opposition cannot have the use of public buildings and Freedom of Speech? It’s our money these people are spending. The point I tried to make about your printing was, you never seem to mention or question these facts. Which is the same as not printing the whole Truth.
A last point: It was not "lies" to identify you as a member of the ROT. I didn't say you were appearing in your official capacity with the ROT, only that you are a member, which you are, last I was told. For a writer, such ID, along with the factor of the affidavits, provides continuity to help the reader understand this story in the context of previous stories. Again, you are who you are, semicolon or capital letters nothwithstanding. Why duck it?
Again, what is a member? Sir, no Texan and inhabitant on Republic of Texas soil pays dues and there are no members. Question; Are you a member of the U.S.? Or are you a 14th amendment Citizen of the U.S., united States of America, USA, US, UNITED STATES? So Greg when you print something that is incorrect, is it not untruth? What is untruth and misleading media? Are you a member OR CITIZEN of the corporation "THE STATE OF TEXAS"? Do you pay DUES as a member or do you pay any tax you owe as a Citizen?
One last point: Re; Article: You printed that I threatened to sue the County Clerk and the District Attorney. Again you mislead by misstating what I said. I said that I was going to "request the District Attorney to file suit against the County Clerk and if he didn’t, then I would request the Attorney General to file against the District Attorney and the County Clerk". This is not a threat it would be a request per STATE OF TEXAS laws under the Freedom of Information Act, for them as elected officials to abide by their own Laws and the Oaths of Office they took but continually try to bypass.
